Head off the street and down the stairs to reach this spacious, well-appointed basement pizzeria and bar with its capacious leather booths, modern trimmings and noticeable lack of design clichés. Food-wise, stone-baked pizzas are the main attraction, with around 20 versions on offer – from hot Americano with pepperoni and jalapeños to Capra (goats’ cheese, caramelised onions, peppers and tomato) or Copacobana (Cajun chicken, smoky bacon, pineapple and Mozzarella). The family-friendly menu also takes in a handful of antipasti, burgers, steaks and familiar pastas (wild mushroom linguine, spaghetti carbonara etc).
