From the restaurant group that has given us Canova Hall in Brixton, Cattivo (also in Brixton) and Martello Hall in Hackney, Albion & East has opened a new multi-use space right by Old Street round-about. The all-day restaurant is also a co-working space with unlimited coffee and complimentary wifi, a bakery, and a private hire space. Wednesdays are dedicated to quiz bingo and the weekend to bottomless brunches and late-night DJ sets. Food is Italian with signature pizzas and home-made pasta. Interiors are sleek (deep forest green upholstery, art deco furniture) and the space is grand with double-height floor-to-ceiling windows and enormous plants.
