Celebrity chef Yotam Ottolenghi has launched a Fitzrovia-based spin-off of his health-conscious cafés. Although similar to his other Ottolenghi sites, the restaurant serves a menu where vegetables take centre stage – but there’s also a focus on fermentation and cooking over fire.

The dome-shaped dining room has industrial notes juxtaposed with pale oak wood and travertine stone. Counter-top seating in the front window is reserved for walk-ins, while the main room is bookable and features a 16-seat cocktail bar.

On the menu, you can expect the likes of slow-roasted cauliflower with crispy chickpeas, tahini and fermented chilli salsa, and onglet skewers with beef-fat mayonnaise and fermented green chillies. If you’re in a rush, opt for a takeaway salad or a freshly baked cake from the small on-site deli.
