Run alongside the Off The Wall Restaurant at The Apex Hotel, this contemporary, clean-lined bar – and its adjoining fine-weather terrace – offer drinks aplenty, as well as an assortment of snacks and light dishes. At lunchtime you can get sandwiches on ciabatta, British cheeses, and cold cuts with tapenade and bread, while a tapas-style menu runs from 3pm: take your pick and nibble your way through salmon skewers with lemon and chive sauce, honey-glazed sausages, veggie spring rolls or crispy fried squid with garlic mayonnaise. Cocktails are many and varied, from signature punches and ‘rocks drinks’ to classic Mojitos, Cuba Libre, fizzy Air Mail and the house special – a pokey blend of Sailor Jerry rum, spiced berry cordial, lime, raspberry, orange, black pepper and ginger beer. There’s a full range of teas and coffees for the abstainers too.
