Following a hugely successful three-month residency atop the Royal Festival Hall, pop-up restaurant
The Cube by Electrolux has extended its run to 1 January 2013 – and chefs including Tom Aikens and
Nigel Haworth and Lisa Allen (chef-proprietor and head chef of Lancashire’s Northcote restaurant) are preparing to do
stints in the kitchen.
So far, The Cube has seen six of the UK’s best chefs take turns to cook a five-course lunch and dinner with matching wines for 18 guests. Diners sit together at a communal table and are encouraged
to mingle with each other – and with the chef and his team in the open kitchen, as well as take in the stunning views of the capital.
Chefs to have cooked in The Cube so far include Nottingham’s Sat Bains, Edinburgh’s Tom Kitchin, Bristol’s Jonray and Peter Sanchez-Iglesias (Seasons.Casamia), London’s Claude Bosi (Hibiscus) and Cambridge’s Daniel Clifford (Midsummer House).
Tickets to The Cube by Electrolux cost £175 for lunch and £215 for dinner. To book a table, call 020 7288 6450. Find out more about The Cube by Electrolux by visiting electrolux.co.uk/Cube/London.
