JULY 2011: Bulgari, purveyor of luxury goods to the luxuriously wealthy, will open one of its five-star hotels in Knightsbridge in April 2012. This latest offering (Bulgari also own hotels in Milan
and Bali) will be located opposite Zuma on Knightsbridge Green; as well as the usual spas and suites, the hotel will also offer guests and locals a modern-Italian restaurant . It won’t be the only
designer-restaurant collaboration in Knightsbridge: the Armani Caffe on Old Brompton Road already mixes trendy tailoring with fashionable plates. However, the hotel and restaurant should see this
most flagrantly fashionable of areas raise its game even further.
