What’s better than enjoying an alfresco tipple while basking in the summer sunshine? Enjoying it on a rooftop, of course. Perhaps because we’re running out of space at ground level (pop-ups and food markets mean there is barely an inch of pavement spare) or because we once heard that alcohol is more effective at higher altitudes, us thirsty Londoners are heading up to fill our cups. But given that these lofty watering holes are somewhat out of sight, they can be difficult to pinpoint. But gravity doesn’t hold back the Square Meal spies, oh no. We’ve swooped and scanned the skyline to scout out the very best places to drink vodka and get vertigo, so all you have to do is take the lift then sit back and slurp.
