Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant at 11 Park Walk, Chelsea is to open as a second London branch of Maze Grill in April.

Originally the site of Ramsay’s Aubergine restaurant, 11 Park Walk is where the chef’s career took off more than 20 years ago. Gordon Ramsay Group is also planning further locations for more Maze Grills.

The 60-cover restaurant (rendering above) is inspired by the grill rooms of Manhattan and will offer signature rare breed steaks, fish and poultry from the Josper grill alongside sushi and sashimi from a dedicated raw bar.

Stuart Gillies, managing director, Gordon Ramsay Group said, ‘11 Park Walk is steeped in history and we are very excited about returning there, but to be doing something different. Aubergine was a one-off restaurant and of its time. The new restaurant reflects an increasing demand for casual yet quality dining experiences and we have identified a number of cosmopolitan neighbourhood locations for the Maze Grill brand.’

Maze Grill will be the fourth restaurant that Gordon Ramsay Group has opened in the UK in the last 18 months. 2013 saw the launch of Italian restaurant and bar, Union Street Café in Southwark and 2014 saw the opening of neighbourhood restaurant, London House in Battersea. Most recently, the company opened Heddon Street Kitchen, a sister restaurant to Bread Street Kitchen at St Paul’s.
