AUGUST 2011: Russell Norman will launch the fifth version of his hugely successful small-plates empire in November. Mishkin’s – which will take its inspiration from Jewish delis of New York’s Lower
East Side, with a pinch of Brick Lane thrown in for good measure – is to be located on Catherine Street, and will continue the restaurateur’s move into Covent Garden, which started with da Polpo.
There’s more good news for those put off by the no-bookings policy operated at Mishkins’ older siblings Polpo and Sputino: this joint will take bookings.
