London patisserie Maître Choux is charging £125 for its Valentine's Day eclairs.
Valentine's Day is known for big romantic gestures, and Instagram-friendly patisserie Maître Choux is presenting love-struck Londoner's with the ultimate in flashy food declarations of love.
The patisserie, which is overseen by star pastry chef Joakim Prat (above) and has sites in South Kensington and Soho, has joined forces with high-end florist All For Love to offer love birds The Choux Box - Valentine's Edition (below). The box features four seasonal éclairs chosen by the buyer, which are set inside a vibrant display of flowers.
Maître Choux's website describes The Valentine's Choux Box as "a truly unique and opulent gift idea". Just as well, as the box comes in at (gulp) £125 and must be ordered three days in advance of collection.
If bouquets aren't your thing, you can opt for the simpler Red Love éclair above (filled with Tahitian vanilla cream and raspberry purée), which costs a far less extravagant £5.80.
