Following the success of Novikov, which opened in November last year, Russian restaurateur Arkady Novikov is to open a second London venture – this time in Knightsbridge.
The new restaurant – called Brompton Asian Brasserie – will be launched in partnership with London-based restaurateur Valeria Zilkha, and it will be an all-day neighbourhood offering serving
contemporary European and Asian cuisine.
Pitched on the site of the Brompton Quarter Brasserie (pictured, and originally owned by Zilkha), it will retain a similar layout and style: an airy ground-floor dining room with open kitchen, plus
a below-floor snug to be used mainly for private functions.
The next-door delicatessen will also run under Brompton Asian Brasserie’s name and will sell snacks, freshly made sauces, organic wines, charcuterie and cheese – plus fresh dim sum.
The restaurant will launch in October 2012.
