Steak and wine is a pairing that goes together like Kim and Kanye, or Theresa May and awkward dance moves. Argentinian steak group Gaucho understands just how important this meaty pairing is, and to prove it, is launching a new bottomless steak and wine night.
Taking place every Saturday at Gaucho's Smithfield location, the new ‘Beef and Bottle’ night invites hungry guests to enjoy unlimited steak for only £45 per person. There’s also the option to add free-flowing red, white or rose wine, while your steaks will be served with bottomless chips and chimichurri.
Kicking off from 7pm (with the last tables being seated at 10.45pm), the evening will see a weekly-changing selection of the best cuts of Argentinian steak. Steaks that you may find on your visit include the Ancho ribeye, which is delicately marbled throughout for a full-bodied flavour, or perhaps the chorizo sirloin, which is a tender cut topped with a strip of juicy crackling. You might also come across the cuadril rump, which is a very lean cut of beef which has a distinctive flavour, and the pincana, which is a cut from the top of the cuadril.
Providing the atmosphere to your night of carnivorous feasting will be a roster of live DJs, who will set the tone with a playlist of chilled electric beats. Bottomless steak and chips, free-flowing booze and foot-tapping beats? We can’t think of a better way to spend your Saturday night.
Gaucho’s ‘Beef and Bottle’ night kicks off on 11 May, and will take place every Saturday thereafter from 7pm. Bottomless steak is priced at £45 per person, while you can add free-flowing booze for £25 each.
