COLD FOOD & POOR SERVICE
We came here as a groups of friends in July.
We had booked in advance however once we got to the restaurant they had no record of our booking!
We were eventually seated and immediately asked what we wanted, we tried to ask the waiter some advice but he was very pert and rude, he was adamant to take our order as quick as possible and hurried us. This was very unprofessional to say the least as we wanted to get an idea of portion sizes how the dishes come etc but he simply didn't want to know.
We did notice a few people were waiting for a table and they seemed more interested in making sure the people did not leave.
After finally ordering our food we waited 25 minutes for our food which wasn't too bad but when it came it was cold and some of the lettuce was soggy brown!
We thought we better not say anything as already we seemed to have started on the wrong side of this waiter and just left the salad and ate the kebabs.
I had lamb chops and these were not hot, not warm but almost stone cold and had a lot of fat around them and hardly any meat, I thought the was no on as you pay about 12£ for a meal you expect it to be edible!!!
We ate and order a dessert which we ate and then asked for one more round of soft drinks, the waiter just about accepted this and we were not offered any of the Turkish tea that other friends told us you get complimentary after a meal…
Overall a real BAD EXPERIENCE and we will not be going again and for the privilege we paid just short of 30£ EACH this was for a main and simple dessert and 2 soft drinks A BIT PRICEY DONT YOU SAY!!
Oh we'll you live and learn, we did the hard way but next time will be going somewhere else where we will feel WELCOME AND NOT RUSHED.

I love this restaurant. For me, it's local, intimate and if you can imagine proximity to the sea (and the hot weather), you could actually be in Turkey. Food is delicious, wine is Turkish and reasonably priced, and it's always busy, with a pleasantly buzzy atmosphere. Service is good and friendly … and it's fabulously cosy on a cold winter's night to be close to the clay oven! Oh, and you can always get take-out if you can't get a table, which is always a possibility if you haven't booked …
