The Mound connects Edinburgh's Old and New towns, a short walk from Waverley train station and most of the central hotels. Makars Mound is blessed with incredible views, especially at sunsets. We have a heated terrace within Makar's Court and it's 17th century buildings, that were once home to Robbie Burns. A 2 minute stroll takes you up to Edinburgh Castle and onto the Royal Mile.
