JS is the oldest kosher restaurant in Manchester, our reputation for quality food and good service has grown and grown over the years from our humble beginnings in 1956 to a restaurant which now
caters for over 100 diners. We serve great food, freshly prepared on the premises by our talented chef, in a relaxed but stylish brasserie setting. JS attracts of mix of clientele (including some
famous faces!) and is the ideal setting for any occasion from a business lunch for 2, corporate events for up to 50 people, to dinner with friends or family.
Our food Alongside traditional Jewish European dishes including chicken soup, chopped liver and salt beef we also serve modern British classics like bangers and mash, fish and chips and steak pie
and Middle Eastern dishes including hummous with hot pittas, falafel, shwarma and Israeli salads. JS aims to serve kosher food for all in a modern setting.
