Niall McKenna and his team have embarked on the refurbishment of his neighbouring restaurants James Street South and the Bar + Grill located in Belfast City Centre. James Street South first opened its doors back in 2003 with the more contemporary Bar+ Grill nipping at its heels in 2011. The new restaurant relaunched as James St. offers diners a bigger and better dining experience with a comfortable bar area for bar snacks and pre and post dinner drinks, alongside a private room on the ground floor called The Grill Room, as well as their long-established First Floor Private dining room. The menu is a more extensive offering of the favoured Bar + Grill dishes. The extensive bar area will host a range of local drinks as well as a large selection of Irish Whiskeys and some light snacks. Niall and his team look forward to welcoming you to this new chapter of dining out in Belfast. James St. will continue to house The Cookery School on the second floor.
