Following the opening of a site in Manchester, steakhouse juggernaut Hawksmoor has once again expanded its remit beyond the capital with this new site in Edinburgh. Finding its home in the grand art deco banking hall of a Grade-A listed building on St Andrew Square, the space boasts 185 covers and includes a 12-seat private dining room. The impressive building has been sensitively and sympathetically refurbished to celebrate its original features and is a beautiful setting for your next business lunch or dinner with friends. 

The restaurant draws from the incredible produce Scotland has to offer with beef from grass-fed cattle and seafood sourced from the Scottish Coast. From the kitchen, you can expect the usual run of grilled meat and fish dishes, including starters of potted beef and bacon with Yorkshires, and Tarbert crab on toast. Mains include the signature steaks alongside alternatives such as a double cheeseburger with chips, or a veggie option of ash baked beetroots with green sauce and whipped ricotta. To round things off, there’s sticky toffee pudding, ice cream sundaes and salted caramel rolos, while fun cocktails include a Nuclear Banana Daiquiri.
