This fine Elizabethan manor house maintains a great atmosphere with its intricately carved ceilings, sweeping staircase, grand fireplaces and antique furnishings –and is an unlikely setting for sub-continental cooking. But this is chef/patron Simon Morris’s passion and Indian food certainly shines through on menus in the dining room. No wonder it’s a popular wedding venue.
