Run alongside Chambers Restaurant at The Apex Temple Court, its adjoining bar/lounge provides drinks and snacks in a setting of slatted walls, dark metallic surfaces and wingback chairs. Food is served throughout the day, so expect an international line-up ranging from ham croquetas, mini fishcakes, crispy squid with lemon mayonnaise and other ‘light bites’ to salads such as a classic Caesar, hand-picked Dorset crab or char-grilled octopus with potato. There are also club sandwiches, bangers in crusty baguettes, burgers and fish fingers in a bun for those who want something a bit more filling. Everything on the modest wine list is available by the glass, while cocktails are from the classic back catalogue – think Manhattan, Daiquiri, Brandy Alexander, Cosmopolitan and Tom Collins. There’s a full range of teas and coffees for the abstainers too.
