Chai’s own Ben & Jerry, Doctors Ajit & Latheesh founded the group behind Chai Street in 2006 with help and support from friends and well wishers from around the world. What started out as a small experiment to bring high quality fine dining Indian food into the South West and Wales, slowly evolved into an obsession to bring meaning to the world of food and address what is broken in the restaurant industry.
Chai Street brings together over 12 years of experience in the restaurant trade, a love for traditional cooking as handed down through the generations; the art and craft of Indian culinary traditions and the use of modern science in unearthing the secrets behind some of these ideas.
