The easily navigable C&B wine list offers rosé from England, France & South Africa, & whites divided into Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc & a page of interesting ‘other varieties’ – including Verdelho & Albariño. In cold weather, the terrace shrinks to a fraction of its summer capacity, & there are plates of warming sausage & mash or toasted sandwiches for lunch, washed down with some mellow reds.
