Okay, so maybe Canary Wharf gets a bit of a bad rep. It’s a little bit out of the way and its name has become synonymous with tall glass skyscrapers, business meetings and bankers. But we think you’d be naïve to rule it out as somewhere to visit just based on this. There are loads of different things to do in the Canary Wharf area in the form of museums, galleries, shops and roof gardens. Regardless, sometimes it’s just fun to visit somewhere a bit different in London and given the rather corporate exterior of Canary Wharf plenty of people never think to venture there.

In fact, Canary Wharf is becoming a pretty swanky place and as a result has attracted some pretty swanky bars and restaurants to match. We’d go as far as saying it is becoming a bit of a foodie hotspot with some of our favourite chefs and chains opening up branches in Canary Wharf, along with some incredible independent restaurants too. The good news about the riverside location and high-rise nature of Canary Wharf is that a lot of these restaurants come with an amazing view to match the food.

Whether you’re a Canary Wharf regular or a first time venturer, our guide of the best Canary Wharf restaurants will ensure you end up with a top-notch meal.
