You really can’t go wrong with a traditional no fuss or frills brunch menu. By this we mean all the egg dishes, toast, avocado, salmon and of course a full English. Less is more in some cases and often when it comes to a brunch menu this is the case. We have put together a list of restaurants where the menu is exactly what you’d expect from a bottomless brunch menu, but is just as tasty and fun as the quirkier places on the list.
Why: Located in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, this warehouse-style restaurant with plush dark brown leather seating and warm wood floors serves up a three-course bottomless brunch on the weekends. With unlimited bellinis and prosecco to accompany the likes of scotch eggs, chicken and waffles, Shakshuka and a selection of sweet treats, this indulgent spot makes a great place for a Sunday treat, to round your weekend off perfectly.

Why: If it’s a sunny day, why not try The Distillery and enjoy bottomless brunch on the terrace. If you don’t happen to be so lucky with the weather the dark interiors with exposed beams and factory-style windows make for a slightly edgier setting to enjoy your food in. Go for three courses and expect the likes of buttermilk fried chicken, breakfast baps and churros to finish off your meal with a sweet treat. You of course can’t forget the option of unlimited, bellini’s or prosecco to go with it either.

The Florence
Why: Available exclusively on Saturdays, treat yourself to bottomless brunch at The Florence. We love the classic pub décor, and think the best spot to enjoy your meal is in the light and airy restaurant area. On the menu you’ll find chicken bao buns, asparagus and pea omelettes and a selection of burgers, steaks or fish and chips. We can't, of course, forget the booze, so it's good to know that there's the option to add bottomless bellinis or prosecco. To finish there's salted caramel ice cream sandwiches or cookies and cream sundaes, because what is a meal without a something sweet to finish after all?

Why: With exposed brick and wood finishes throughout the hotel, restaurant and bar, this is a great place to enjoy brunch whether you are a guest or just happen to be passing by. Here you’ll find all the usual bottomless suspects including screwdrivers and bloody Marys accompanied by dishes such as salmon and scrambled eggs, avocado on toast and pancakes. Saint Pauls House sticks to the classics everyone knows and loves with good results.

Urban Café
Why: With the option to add bottomless bloody Marys or bucks fizz to have with any of its brunch dishes, this independent and quirky café in Birmingham is the ideal spot to spend a lazy weekend. Serving up all the usual suspects, including its take on the full English, lots of variations on avocado on toast and American style pancakes with a choice of toppings, you're sure to find something for everyone on the menu. Why: Don’t be fooled by the name, Chez Mal’s Liquid Brunch includes some very substantial eats too to soak up all that booze. A hearty highlight is the Chez Mal full breakfast stack which comprises sweet cured bacon, pork sausage, fried egg and steak sauce in a brioche roll with onion rings and potato croquettes.

Quirky bottomless brunch
For the days when you fancy something a little out of the ordinary, whether that be fun restaurant décor, unique cocktails instead of bubbles or something you wouldn’t stereotypically class as brunch food these quirky Birmingham brunches are perfect. All we know is these restaurants may not be conventional but are super instagrammable and definitely provide a fun way to spend a boozy weekend morning or afternoon.
Why: This cool and quirky restaurant is all about socialising. Enjoy its bottomless brunch in one of the booth areas, or if you fancy making new friends, sit on its sharing tables – who knows who you might end up meeting. On its brunch menu expect to find dishes like chorizo hash with peppers, fried egg and sourdough, Gas Street Works – its take on the full English – and buttermilk pancakes with a choice of toppings. These dishes all come teamed with bottomless bellinis or mimosas, so you’ll be merry for the rest of the day.

The Cuban Embassy
Why: Despite the official sounding name, this isn’t in fact the actual Cuban Embassy - although you will find authentic Cuban dishes and bottomless prosecco or Cuban Libres to wash it all down. Go for the Cubanos grilled sandwiches with honey roast ham, blackened chicken or mojo jackfruit, or the jerk chicken burgers, and don’t forget to get some Cuban embassy fries to complete your meal. This bottomless brunch is only available on weekends so plan ahead if you want to enjoy some booze and Cuban food here.

Why: With whimsical décor reminiscent of an old-school fantasy movie, you’ll struggle to find a prettier place to enjoy bottomless brunch in Birmingham. Think vintage chandeliers and pink flowers draping from the ceiling, the most instagrammable of restaurant decors. On the brunch menu expect to see all the classics. Dishes like eggs royale, eggs benedict and smashed avocado alongside buttermilk pancakes and a spiced apple breakfast bowl are among what you can find. Luxury bottomless brunch
These brunches really are the definition of treat yourself meals. From unlimited food as well as drink, to being located in luxury department stores, each one has a different element to elevate it slightly above your average bottomless brunch. They are definitely on the pricier side of this list so you’ll want to make the most of the bottomless booze at these places. Drink up.
Why: This well-known Argentinian steak house serves up one of the most luxurious brunches in Birmingham with its Electro Brunch Feast. Featuring a range of cocktails and drinks you can order to be bottomless, including cider, bloody Marys and aperol spritzes, this is a menu to enjoy with a group of friends. Not only can you get bottomless drinks at Gaucho, if you upgrade to the premium Electro Brunch you can also get bottomless food too. On the menu there is brisket muffin with poached eggs and an English muffin, plus classics like eggs royale and smashed avocado, and because you are in a steak house after all, there's also steak and eggs with chimichurri. Finish this off with a brunch dessert of smoked chocolate ganache and you’ll be suitably full for the rest of the day.

And since you’re already in Harvey Nichols, why not go for a little browse afterwards. Shopping after bottomless Champagne won’t hurt (we promise).

Why: Not only does this well-known bar chain do some exciting cocktails, but during the summer you can get a bottomless gin brunch too.
