Popping up until late summer is this Japanese city treat. Expect lovely soft steamed hirata buns filled with the likes of pulled duck leg with pickled cucumber and harasame sauce or aubergine katsu with avocado salsa and miso, or if you want to go bun free, there’s a very decent version of sweet and spicy or Korean hot chicken wings. To drink? Japanese Beer of course – they have the largest selection of Japanese craft beer in the UK, from Asahi Super Dry to Hitachino Nest Amber Ale, though there are Japanese inspired cocktails and sakes for those who’d rather.
