With its abundance of red lacquer and careful lighting, the dramatic private dining room at The Mandrake is a unique setting in which to host a private event. Flaunting a design in which 28 individual paint processes were used, the space is arty and cool, and lends itself to meetings as well as private breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

In the main restaurant (and in the private dining room) YOPO serves a modern European menu with influences from South America. The menu, devised with a combination of classical cooking techniques alongside experimental ingredients, uses only the finest produce, chosen at their prime.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The new lounge has its own bar snack menu and serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. Coffee & launches are available to it in or to take away throughout the day.

The private dining room, situated on the ground floor, features a long table with comfortable high-backed chairs for up to 20 guests. It can be reserved at any time of day and features include a 40-inch flat screen television, Wi-Fi and music capabilities. Flowers can be arranged for delivery from an internal or external supplier and name cards can be made on request.There are a number of set menus available (which are all subject to seasonal change) and all dietary requirements can be catered for.

For larger parties of up to 54 guests, The Mandrake’s restaurant is available for private hire. Inspired by the Amazon, YOPO features an abundance of plants, plush seating, and a beautiful ceiling mural by artist Peter John de Villers. The menu is modern European with influences from South America and has been devised to showcase a combination of classical cooking techniques alongside experimental ingredients. The menu is seasonal, but dishes you might find include scallop ceviche, potato churros and charcoal grilled octopus.
