Having been established over 275 years ago, it is safe to say that Wiltons is a permanent fixture on the London restaurant scene. Formerly known as Wilton’s Oyster Rooms, it now prides itself on serving wild fish and game seasonally and sourcing only the finest produce from the UK.
Recently refurbished to celebrate its 275th anniversary, its two private dining rooms make for a great meeting rooms or event spaces to entertain your guests in.
The first of the rooms, named The Jimmy Marks Room after the former head oyster man at Wiltons, accommodates up to 20 guests with the option of an AV, making it perfect for holding meetings and business lunches. There is also the option of hiring out the space in the morning only, from 9am-11am, when you’ll receive teas, coffees and pastries on arrival as well as a mid-morning tea break. If you plan on making a day of it, the day delegate rate offers the extra options of a three course lunch.
On the private dining menu you’ll find the likes of lobster bisque, lemon sole with leeks and caviar, and classic bread and butter pudding to finish. The menus also change depending on season.
If you have a few more guests to accommodate, The Green Room seats up to 40 people on six separate tables, ideal for bigger celebrations. You can choose between having a sit down meal from the private dining menus or a selection of canapes, and you can tailor whichever menu you pick to suit your event.
On the canape menu you can order the likes of cream cheese and truffle bites, lobster cocktail, Dover sole and chips, sausage rolls, and mojito macarons or chocolate tea cakes to finish.
Separated by glass and wooden panels from the main restaurant, you can experience the lively vibrant atmosphere while still having the intimacy of a private dining room.
