If you are looking for a completely private event, The Cabin, can host up to 16 guests in a room completely separate from the main restaurant itself. With its signature wood panelling, simple but stylish table lay out and big windows that allow light to flood in. You can choose between the option of having one long table for all your guests to sit at or two tables with a smaller one located at the end of the room. With a hidden flat screen TV and AV system presentations and meeting will also be a breeze in this room.
Sometimes having the atmosphere of a full restaurant, while still having a separate area to yourself is more desirable. If that is the case, The Cabin curtains can be pulled back to make space for up to 36 guests that can still enjoy the lively atmosphere the Rail House Café gives off.
Menu-wise you can expect to find similar signature dishes to the ones featured on the main menu. Focusing on seasonal ingredients, each menu will be curated to suit your needs. Crispy baby squid, sea bream with grilled artichoke, and a raspberry and white chocolate tart are just a few of the dishes you might expect to find, but whatever the menu has on it (season dependant) is bound to impress your guests.
As well as the option of a three course meal, you can opt for either bowl food, where you can expect mac and cheese, kedgeree or coconut chicken rice, or if you don’t plan on having a formal sit down meal a canapes menu is available too.
