Located just moments away from West Kensington tube station, Maurizio Barca is a charming Italian restaurant which serves a vast menu of pizzas, pastas and more.
Spread out over two floors and with the additional benefit of a small garden out the back, it’s also the ideal spot to host a private dinner. Whether you want to host a small group of friends for a birthday, or a larger meal for your business, Maurizio Barca has you covered with its variety of different spaces which can be exclusively hired.
The main restaurant space on the ground floor is wonderfully bright and airy, and features plants hanging down from the walls. For large groups, this is the perfect space to hire for a private dinner as there is room for one large table which everyone can sit round. Alternatively, there is the passageway space upstairs which is better suited to more intimate dinners, particularly if you want people sat down at long tables. The passageway also has direct access to the garden meaning that you and your guests can easily enjoy the fresh air before and after your meal.
When it comes to the menu at Maurizio Barca, there are plenty of choices to choose from. Starters vary from a classic Italian focaccia served with parma ham, to seafood dishes such as baby octopus, and spicy prawns served with cherry tomatoes. Larger plates include an array of pasta dishes ranging from gnocchi with tomato sauce, all the way through to monkfish paccheri; as well as a selection of sourdough pizzas. If you’re feeling like something a little meatier, dishes such as pork shank and meatballs also feature on the menu.
The appealing food offering is accompanied by an equally tempting list of wines, cocktails and beers, while there’s the option to finish your private dinner with a traditional shot of limoncello or grappa.
