Based right in the heart of London on Fleet Street, The Amicable Society of Lazy Ballerinas wine bar is a wonderful spot to host a private drinks event or dinner, whatever the occasion. Boasting a main wine bar as well as two further private rooms beneath, all of which can be hired for private parties, you’ll struggle to find many better spots in such a prime location.
The impressive main wine bar is covered in marble giving it a feeling of grandeur, and can seat up to 48 people. This makes it a great spot for a larger party and is the perfect place to enjoy the extensive list of wines on offer. The staff can also be on hand to advise you in regards to the wine list
Hiding below the large wine bar are the two smaller private dining rooms. The first of these, The Justice Room, is ideal for intimate gatherings and wine tastings. Seating up to 18 people, The Justice Room’s adjoining wine cellar adds an extra touch of class.
Meanwhile The Liberality Room features a large chef’s table in the centre which can sit up to 16 people. This means that it lends itself more to smart dinners where you can sit down and properly enjoy the European menu.
Food is available in all of the rooms within The Amicable Society of Lazy Ballerinas with the menu changing regularly. The offering varies from artisan cheeses and charcuterie boards which are the perfect accompaniment to wine tastings in particular, to more elaborate small plates. There is also a separate French-led set menu for private parties, which costs £39 per head for three courses.
With so many different options available when it comes to private dining at The Amicable Society of Lazy Ballerinas, as well as the benefit of onsite accommodation in the form of the adjoining Apex Temple Court Hotel, it’s a great place to host a party.
