About Trinity House

This grand Georgian venue has five function rooms and fine views towards the Tower of London and overlooking the Trinity Square Gardens. There’s a distinctly nautical feel to the decor, which features maritime paintings, ship models and the brass bell from the royal yacht Britannia. The neo-classical building is great for intimate meetings to large-scale conferences with plenty of room for lunches between talks. Superbly located within central London, the house sits in a prime location close to the city with links to Tower Hill and Fenchurch Street.

Each elegant room is multi-purpose, surrounded by impressive portraits and high windows. Our choice space is the Court Room, with a ceiling fresco by Pre-Raphaelite artist William Holman Hunt and the large windows bringing in light from the gardens. The most spacious room is the library, overlooked by the minstrel’s gallery, which has capacity for up to 130 places. These two larger south-facing rooms both offer adjoining break-out rooms for tea and coffee. The Pepys room, named after the former master of the house, along with the Reading room are ideal for more intimate meetings or workshops. A portrait of Winston Churchill and Franklin D Roosevelt at the signing of the Atlantic agreement, in the latter, is an inspiration for negotiations. The luncheon is of course best for lunches and dinners heated by the warmth of a Georgian fireplace.

Exclusive hire of the entire house is available for privacy and to allow invitees to take full advantage of the distinguished interiors and facilities. There is also the flexibility to choose a combination of the differently sized rooms, according to the needs of the client, to either use them individually or to arrange break-out rooms, refreshments, and lunch. The team at Trinity House have extensive experience in organising catering services and are fully equipped to help plan and stage an event.

Testimonials For Trinity House

Perfect in every wayJANUARY, 2021

Our wedding day at Trinity House was just perfect in every way.  It is a beautiful building which oozes character and history, kept in immaculate condition. The grand staircase, stained glass windows, paintings and décor are stunning, as are the views of Tower Bridge, Tower of London and Trinity Square from the huge upstairs windows. We looked at a number of venues before coming to Trinity House and when we saw it we just knew that it was exactly what we were looking for. We had use of the entire building for the day, and it did not feel too big (like some other venues we viewed) for our wedding party of 45.   Zoe was just wonderful to deal with and provided us with excellent advice throughout the wedding planning. She put us in touch with excellent suppliers and was always available to provide ideas and suggestions when we were not sure what to do. Upon her advice we chose to have the ceremony in the Court Room, drinks reception at the Entrance Hall, and the meal in the Library with everyone sitting at one long table, which due to our small number of guests worked very well. Zoe was extremely professional, helpful, kind and well organised in dealing with ourselves and in coordinating things with the caterers, florist, photographers, and piper.  Many of our guests mentioned to us how impressed they were with Trinity House and how well the day went.  A huge THANK YOU for making our day so special.

Stunning Views of Tower of LondonJANUARY, 2021

My husband and I got married at Trinity House in March 2019, it was the perfect place for our special day.  Trinity house was the first place we visited when looking for our venue, it really stood out from the rest. We really wanted a venue with character and not a wedding factory, Trinity House ticked all our boxes.  It is centrally located with stunning views of the Tower of London. The house is so beautiful inside and full of history. There were so many details which made this the most amazing venue from the grand staircase, to the chandeliers, historic artwork, and the ships bell to call everyone in for the wedding breakfast. We really cannot thank Zoe enough for all her help and guidance up to and on the big day. Zoe is so knowledgeable, calm, and was happy to answer any questions we had. We had such an amazing day; everything was perfect, and this was thanks to Zoe and her team.
