The Northern Irish capital’s repurposed maritime hub has a three-pronged events offer. On the top floor of the strikingly contemporary Titanic Belfast building, the Titanic Suites look out to the slipways and lough where the famous ship was built and launched. Inside too, it draws inspiration from the White Star Liner, with plush interiors centred around a replica of its Grand Staircase. Close by, SS Nomadic is an original quarter-sized sister to the Titanic that immerses dining groups in a period White Star experience, while the 6,000sq m Titanic Exhibition Centre is a thoroughly modern host of large-scale exhibitions. Both of Belfast’s airports are within a half-hour transfer of all three, and a Titanic Hotel is promised for September 2017.
