This Grade I-listed building is made for conferences and gala dinners. Stone columns and period chandeliers define its Great Hall, dating from 1753. With a statement marble chimney piece, the Drawing Room is a destination in its own right, and can host receptions ahead of dinner in the stately Dining Room. Drinks can also be taken in the octagonal court rooms, while tours of the former police cells and dungeons are an unusual add-on.
