Opened in 2010, The Convention Centre Dublin hasn’t wasted any time in attracting international interest for conferences and exhibitions. The strikingly designed, carbon-neutral building houses six floors of event space with 22 separate rooms to choose from. The Forum, on the ground floor, is the venue’s largest space and is able to hold up to 3,040 delegates for a conference or 2,000 guests for a banquet. Its sheer size also makes it a natural choice for large-scale exhibitions. If you want your conference to make a big statement, it’s worth taking a look at The Auditorium – occupying the top three floors – where the venue has spared no expense on AV kit. On the first and second floors are a number of smaller options, with capacities ranging from six (boardroom style) to 500 (theatre style). The venue is located in Dublin city centre, within easy access of rail stations, ferry terminals and the airport.
