Built in 1883, South Lodge is set in 93 acres of parkland in the South Downs. Besides its well-appointed bedrooms, there’s a conference wing with a video conferencing suite. Our top spot is the Gladstone, which combines luxurious furnishings with hi-spec AV. Events can also take place in fine-dining restaurant The Pass, a large-scale take on a chef’s table, with an open kitchen and LCD screens showing the chefs at work.
