Up the road from the very home of rugby in Twickenham, there is an old ground waiting to be transformed into a venue for parties, conferences, seminars or teambuilding days. On the outskirts of London, but buffered by 25 acres of more rural land, Richmond Athletic Ground boasts a cantilevered grandstand and a Grade II-listed pavilion, while the old-school changing rooms and rugby-club bars are testimonies to its history. The latter include the Members Bar, which can accommodate 750 if joined by a marquee, and the Sports Bar, which can take 225. The Old Pavilion Board Room is the place for a more intimate meal, seating up to 20.
