The manor that houses this four-star hotel was built in 1795 by friends of Jane Austen. Today, the 315-acre estate is intact and its noble Georgian architecture will be augmented this spring by the Garden Pavilion, which comes with a dancefloor and patio. Inside, seven naturally light rooms can host meetings, conferences and other business events. The book-lined Library is a particularly characterful space. Clay pigeon shooting can be arranged on-site.
