5 of our favourite nightclub venues
London is a city known for its nightlife, and for good reason. Make the most of it and host your next event in one of our favourite party spots

1. Café de Paris, W1D, up to 715 guests

Cafe de Paris guide
The oldest nightclub in our list, Café de Paris still exudes 1920s glamour with opulent, Moulin Rouge-style interiors. For grand events, opt for exclusive hire of the Ballroom where you’ll find a sweeping staircase and a statement chandelier. VIP-dining options at its speciality weekend cabaret nights are best for smaller groups.

2. Studio 88, WC2, up to 400 guests

The concept is this: write your request on a napkin from one of the light-changing tables, and two vocalists and their accompanying musicians will play it on the large stage during a non-stop set. The Blue Room, with its own grand piano, can be hired exclusively for groups to take part in ‘Can’t Sing Choir’ singing lessons or cocktail masterclasses.

3. Drama Park Lane, W1, up to 300 guests

Drama nightclub London Park Lane

This high-end nightclub and cocktail club secretly opened within the London Hilton on Park Lane a few years back. Today, it’s a celebrity hotspot (Rihanna, Usain Bolt and Leonardo DiCaprio have all visited) which also doubles up as a venue for product launches, fashion shows and dinners (Monday-Wednesday). It’s run by the people behind Cirque Le Soir, so those planning a party at the venue can rest assured it’ll be memorable.

4. Barrio Shoreditch, E1, up to 360 guests

Barrio East - dining
Barrio Bars has built up a solid reputation of providing fun and funky venues for event bookers, and the Shoreditch flagship is no exception. A bright, colourful cantina with four hireable areas, this Barrio is open until 2am Thursday-Saturday. If you’d prefer something a bit earlier, the venue is easily adapted to daytime events too with three screening areas and all the kit in place for live music and projections.

5. Egg London, N7, up to 1500 guests

Egg London - venue hire

If you’re into electro, techno, D&B or house, Egg is the place to be. Although versatile in its use (launches, networking events, conferences, fashion shows), it is mostly renowned for its all-night dance parties. A place where the party never stops, this is where to take your most hard-core party animals.
