The Home of Racing in Suffolk has a rich equine heritage – it is the town where horseracing was born 350-odd years ago – and maintains that prestige today, as the HQ of British horseracing. Its racecourses host some of the calendar’s most important dates, such as the QIPCO Guineas Festival. The venue has moved with the times, though, offering conference facilities and hospitality to match the best of the Jockey Club portfolio, to which it belongs. If conferencing is a priority then the Millennium Suite in the like-named Grandstand is worth a look, accommodating up to 300 delegates. Alternatively, The Champions Gallery has space for 50 theatre style and looks out over the finishing straight. July is when the course really comes to life with a string of concert dates to go with the mainstay racing. The Adnams Newmarket Nights attract world-famous pop stars, making hospitality options in the area a no-brainer.
