Royal Ascot announces chef lineup for 2018
This year, Ascot Racecourse is adding four new fine-dining restaurants to its roster, bringing the portfolio up to a total of 15 during Royal Ascot on 19-23 June. As ever, there’s some big culinary talent behind them.

The four new restaurants will include The Balmoral, The Windsor Forest, The Furlong Restaurant and The Gallery.

Adam Handling (chef and owner of The Frog E1 and its Covent Garden incarnation) will make his Royal Ascot debut at The Balmoral, and plans to reimagine classic summer dishes in a more playful way. The restaurant will also be inspired by the Scottish highlands and so the menu will feature fresh Scottish seafood and Royal Estate beef.

Elsewhere, two Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc is back for a fifth year, and will continue his residence in the Panoramic Restaurant in the Royal Enclosure. Phil Howard is also making a return to the festival in the Queen Anne Enclosure at On5, where he hopes to champion the best of British produce, and Simon Rogan will be bringing his skill to the Royal Enclosure.

Our pick of the lot though is The Windsor Forest. With room for just 45 guests, it’ll be the most intimate in the Royal Enclosure and will also benefit from prime views over the Winning Post from its private balcony. Plus there’ll be a high level of personalised service, with food served at any time of day your guests might need.

Fine-dining and hospitality packages start from £269pp, and range from five-course menus to all-day food service.
