Christmas party venues in Barnet don’t come much more versatile than Hadley House. Owned and run by restaurateur Elton Keka, who has previously acted as general manager for big name brands including Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, Fortnum & Mason and Searcys, this popular restaurant and cocktail bar boasts a great location on the high-street, three great spaces for hire, and a food and drink offering that caters to everyone.
Easy to get to by car and by public transport (High Barnet tube station is just a fifteen-minute walk away), this contemporary venue caters to all Christmas party types, from family gatherings to corporate Christmas parties with all the bells and whistles. There are three spaces available for hire at Hadley House: The King George Room, the whole of the downstairs, and a semi-private space.
The King George Room is ideal for private Christmas lunches, dinners and cocktail receptions thanks to its large open space and minimal décor that’s just asking to be decked with boughs of holly. The room can accommodate up to 60 for seated Christmas meals or up to 100 for festive cocktail receptions, so whether it’s a small team lunch or whole office party, the space can be configured to your needs.
The downstairs space is ideal for large corporate Christmas parties, thanks to its ample space for up to 110 seated or 250 standing guests. Conversely, the semi-private space upstairs is ideal for smaller Christmas gatherings of up to 20 seated or 25 standing guests.
The festive set menu at Hadley House offers excellent value and comes with a choice of four starters and desserts, and a choice of five mains. Groups can also choose whether to add a glass of bubbly to kick things off with too. Decidedly Christmassy starters include options such as chestnut soup with truffle oil, and chicken liver pate, while mains include traditional turkey with all the trimmings, slow-cooked ox cheek, and saffron risotto for vegetarians. For dessert, you might choose steamed Christmas pudding with brandy custard, bread and butter pudding, or a British cheese board. A great range of drinks is also available, so whatever your festive tipple, you won’t be disappointed.
