Christmas at Hever Castle & Gardens

This imposing 13th-century castle, which was once the home of Anne Boleyn, certainly adds some grandeur to a Christmas celebration. Parties here can take place in the Castle, the Astor Wing or the Guthrie Pavilion. All adorned with twinkling lights and Christmas trees, events in the castle will begin with a dramatic drawbridge arrival into an opulent function room that King Henry VIII would have once dined in. For more intimate festivities, the Astor Wing has the exclusivity and charm of a Tudor country house, and the Guthrie Pavilion – located by the water in the Italian Gardens – offers a party with a view. Packages include prosecco on arrival, a traditional three-course Christmas meal, crackers, coffee and mince pies followed by a DJ and dancing into the night.
